LAMKA, February 16: The Kuki Women Union, Sangaikot block secretary Nengboi, Sangaikot TD Block Chiefs Association secretary Khupson Zou and KSO Sangaikot have issued a joint statement appreciating the steps taken up by the local MLA GS Haupu and the concern authority of the PMGSY to include four rural roads under the PMGSY Phase X in Sangaikot block.
The four rural roads are Sangaikot-T Khsngkhau (MN 0386), Sugnu road to Mondrnpgsi (MN 03143), Sangaikot to Tuisonjsng Ps-1 (MN0386) and Sangaikot to Tuining (MN0446).
The joint statement further added that, the three organisations seriously view the ongoing tender process for the scheme and resolved not to allow execution of the said project if any agency or contactor(s) who bid under the schedule rate are awarded the works.
“Therefore the said organisation of the block appealed to the concerned authorities of PMGSY, Govt of Msnipur to kindly adhere to the plight of the people of the block for maintaining quality of work and early execution of the work in the interest of the people of the block” the joint statement concluded.
