IMPHAL, March 12: Altogether 10 ASHAs who had performed their duties at its best were felicitated with mementoes and certificates during the International Women`™s Day observation today at CMO, Building Complex R&D Wing, Lamphelpat organized by District Health Mission Society, Imphal West under National Health Mission.
In the observation ceremony Associate Professor Damdei Christian College, Motbung Dr Priyadarshini M Gangte, District Mission Director CMO, Imphal West Dr S Bimolakumari Devi and Beirodhan Maxwell Hindi Primary School, National Awardee Kh Sunita Devi attended as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Out of the total 329 ASHAs from 10 blocks in Imphal West district, 10 best performing ASHAs were selected.
The felicitated ASHA`™s were Wahengbam Victoria of CHC Wangoi, Khumanthem Tababi of PHC Mekola, Yumnam Manitomni of PHC, Samurou, for PHC Mayang Imphal Laishram Sanjita Devi, W Hemabati of PHC Sekmaijing; Thiyam Sadhana of CHC Sekmai; Sorojini of PHC Khurkhul, Mirabai of PHC Phayeng, Tabasini of PHC Kakwa and Lata of PHC Khumbong.
