IMPHAL, 13 February: Extending financial support to the victims of recent bomb blast at Murgee Bazar, Kwairamband Bazar Lions club of Imphal executive member Thoudam Imomacha Singh said that the Lions Club of Imphal condemns the incident. He was speaking in a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
He further said that the club has decided to donate a sum of Rs 1 lakh for the victims of March 11 bomb blast.
The amount was handed over to the secretaries of All Manipur Muslim Co-ordinating Committee and Muslim Council, Manipur in the presence of President All Manipur Working Journalist Union W Shyamjai.
Further Thoudam Imomacha Singh said that Lions Club of Imphal will organise its 36th Annual International Conference at the City Convention, Palace Compound, tomorrow where 800 delegates from all over the world will be participating.
He appealed to all concerned not to obstruct the conference.
