IMPHAL, Mar 18: A female pedestrian has died after she was hit by a Maruti 800 car at near Thoubal Canal under Thoubal Police Station on March 17 at around 8:55 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Sorokhaibam Ningol Laishram Ongbi Indumukhi Devi, 60, wife of L Thambou Singh, of Poirou Khongjin Mayai Leikai.
The car has been seized by the Police and a case has also been registered.
The lifeless body has been handed over to her family after a post mortem examination at RIMS.
