LAMKA, April 12: An Improvised Explosive Device, I ED, exploded adjacent to the high security area of Lighthouse Post of the BSF located on the Teddim road of CCpur today at around 8am sending a shockwave throughout Lamaka town.
The spot of incident, between the BSF sentry post and SBI ATM booth, is also only 100 meter from the Ccpur police station.
Four people, Gopen 46 S/o Gopal of Family Lane, Helendal Sap 35 S/o Kanu Singh of Old Bazaar,. Md.Musatkim 17 S/o Md. Abudula Old Bazaar and Ms. Salima 41 W/o Iboyai Old Bazaar suffered shrapnel injuries from the explosion.
None of the injured persons however is reported to be in critical condition.
