KANGPOKPI, April 10: Confirming the performance of legendary and international music icon Neil Zaza at Senapati on April 15, JK construction Manager Woba Koveo has announced that the guitarist guru will also conduct a Guitar Workshop at Senapati during his tour to NE India.
The mega event expecting to have many music lovers is organized by JK construction Private Limited and sponsored by Rahul Joseph, Manager of Red Eagles JP match factory, Tamil Nadu.
The celebrated renowned guitarist ZaZa will entertain young guitar fans with his workshop in the afternoon and later his much awaited concert in the evening hours at Indoor Mini Stadium, Senapati DHQ.
Zaza is a melodic instrumental guitarist who has become well known for his technical accuracy and adaptation of classical works by Bach and Mozart into his own blend of neo-classical, melodic, guitar instrumentals.
He has also shared the stage with notable guitarists such as Joe Satriani and Michael Angelo Batio and held an annual concert called one Silent Night at the Palace Theater in Cleveland with the backing of the 60 piece Cleveland Rock Orchestra which featured his adaption of popular Christmas songs to his melodic style.
ZaZa is known for dramatic entrances, often suddenly appearing from behind projector screens to provide his signature brand of neo-classical guitar virtuosity. In 2006, ZaZa contributed his song `Fargo` to the album project Artists for Charity-Guitarists 4 the Kids, produced by Slang Productions, to assist World Vision Canada in helping underprivileged kids in need.
The guitar workshop will be held in Senapati Mini Stadium beginning at 1 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their own guitars as Neil ZaZa will demonstrate a number of techniques and approach to guitar playing while every participant will get a certificate of participation signed by Neil ZaZa. There will be also a lucky draw after the workshop and the winner will get a guitar signed by Neil ZaZa. The mega event featuring Eve of Redemption and Rigid Collision will have a supporting Artist, Asa Vero.
Hills Hornbill Express will be the media partner in the event while Hill Sound will be the light and sound partner. Co-Partner by Senapati Music Society(SMS), the event hospitality will be taken care of by The Bamboo Vill while Sky Entertainment will take the charge of Artiste Management.
