IMPHAL, April 18: JAC against the brutal killing of Th. Kelvin, Ukhongshang appealed for justice in a press meeting held at Manipur Press Club today. `We are not asking for monetary compensation but a transparent conduct of enquiry without tampering the evidences and delaying the chargesheet` stated the president, S Boro Singh.
He further said, `It is apparent that the murder is planned, yet the version of the murderer seems to imply that it was an accident arising from a drunken spat. We await the post mortem report to establish the accusation since there was no sign of drinking in the spot.`
`Meanwhile we found that his bike was hidden at Romeshwar`™s (Brother in law of L.Dojo) house and cannot rule out his involvement too,` he said.
It may be recalled that the decomposed body of Th. Kelvin (16 yrs) S/O Th. Yambung (Premjit) and Th.(O) Bina Devi from Ukhongshang mamang leikai, a class XI student of HRD Academy was found at Ngariyan on the April 15.
A memorandum has been submitted to the Chief Minister too on the incident.
