IMPHAL, April 1: The lifeless bodies of the two Havildars of 44 Assam Rifles, who were killed in yesterday`™s ambush at Konkan Thana under Chasad PS in Ukhrul District, were sent home after post mortem examinations at RIMS morgue today.
The deceased have been identified as Havildar Man Bahadur Chhetri, 41, of AR Bazar, Happy Valley, Shillong, Meghalaya and Havildar Durnakanta Dole, 38, of Bangkawara village, Golaghat, Assam.
The post mortem examinations were conducted in the presence of an Executive Magistrate with video recording.
