IMPHAL, April 12: In a scary road accident, six persons coming in three two-wheelers suffered grievous injuries when their vehicles collided with a speeding truck at Pangaltabi Chingkha under Sugunu Police Station in Thoubal district today around 2.30 pm.
Reports said the six persons with two on each of the vehicles were returning back to their respective homes from a football match when the unfortunate accident took place.
They were rushed to RIMS Hospital for treatment. Of the six injured, condition of five is said to be in critical. All of them are from Sugunu.
On hearing the news, a tea of police rushed to the area where the mishap took place. A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
Identity of the six hurt in the scary accident could not be ascertained till the time of filing this report.
