BISHNUPUR, April 24: A two-day long free medical camp being organized by 32nd BN CRPF Loktak under Civic Action Programme began today at Jeevan Nagar, Henglep Constituency in Churachandpur district.
The camp was inaugurated by Commandant of 32nd BN CRPF Loktak, Jagat Singh Ahlawat and DIGP CRPF Group Centre, Vimal Kumar Bhist in the presence of unit officers of the battalion.
Around 500 villagers coming from Gelmol, Thangjol, Newkungpi, Kokimun, Bongphajol, Yaingangkhuman, Phingphejang, Molphai, Bungmol, Lamdan, Chiru Charoikhullen, Majiron, Jeevan Nagar, Henglep, Leimatak and several other villages under Henglep sub-division were done health checked up by Chief Medical Officer of NHPC, Dr KK Singh; CRPF Medical Officer, Dr Th Motilal and Medical Officer of Manipur Health Service, Dr S Robin.
Free medicines worth around Rs 1 lakh were also provided to those who diagnosed with various ailments during the first day of the health camp.
