IMPHAL, May 20: The Development Organisation Andro Kendra has announced today that the first 200 students seeking admission at the Azad Higher Secondary School, Yairipok for the academic session 2015-16 will be provided free education facilities.
This was announced by the organisation`™s general secretary K Adungcha Singh in a press meet held at the residential quarter of Andro MLA Th Shyamkumar this evening.
Adungcha said the school was recently upgraded to a higher secondary school by the government and the first 200 students will be provided admission fee, boarding fee, free coaching and other facilities.
The decision was taken jointly by the organisation and the local MLA aimed at improving the human resource sector and help the poor and the needy students, he said.
The school, he said is providing admission in all three streams of Science, Arts and Commerce.
Admission forms are available at the Andro MLA`™s quarter and the school office, he said adding that the last date of issue of admission form is June 5 while the last date for form submission is June 10.
