IMPHAL, May 30: Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) centre Manipur conducted a three-day workshop on DIYA (Do it yourself ASER) training programme, for the CSP (Community Schol Programme) teachers, to enable and to identify the strength and weakness of their students, by testing their level of knowledge through arithmetic and simple reading, thus provide an applicable solution for them for further improvement.
The programme began on May 27 at Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) Mantripukhri Imphal East, and successfully ended on May 29.
The participants were supervisors, teachers and a mobile team of Bishnupur, Moirang, Leimaram, Ngarian and from Tamenglong district respectively adding that the training consist of theoretical learning and practical field visits as well as field survey in a St Edmund School Imphal West.
