IMPHAL, May 4: Identity of the dead body of a man recovered by police in Imphal River at Chairen Awang Leikai Ward No 3 under Sugunu Police Station on May 2 around 11.30 am has been established today.
The deceased has been identified as Moirangthem Budhachandra Singh, 36 son of M Kripa Singh of Kakching Wairi Sabal Leikai Ward No 2.
It is said that whereabouts of Budhachandra was unknown ever since he went out of his house on April 28 to take part in Lai Haraoba at Chairen.
