KANGPOKPI, May 8: Subsequent to the success of clearing of scrutiny for ADC candidates yesterday, a blessing programme for INC candidate in respect of 7-Keithelmabi District Council Constituency under Kangpokpi AC has been organized at the candidate residence at Champhai (Keithelmanbi Military Colony) today.
Lamminthang Kipgen, INC candidate have successfully passed the scrutiny conducted yesterday at DC Office, Imphal West at Lamphelpat to contest the upcoming 5th ADC Election from 7-Keithelmanbi DCC.
On the blessing ceremony Kangpokpi Block Congress Committee Chairman Tongkholal Hangshing hoisted the INC symbol while Lamkhoseh Chongloi, Pastor KCBC administered the blessing ceremony of the candidate.
Lamminthang Kipgen expressed his goals of contesting the election and ideology in the election during the programme where the election committee for the INC candidate has also been constituted.
Village chiefs within 7-Keithelmanbi DCC and Keithelmanbi VA Members, Women Union, Youth association members and more than 500 people participated in the function.
