NEZCC inviting applications from artistes, performers, cultural groups, artisan’s etc. from the North Eastern States for formal empanelment

EMPANELMENT OF ARTISTS

NORTH EAST ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE (NEZCC)

MINISTRY OF CULTURE, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA

North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications from artists, performers, cultural groups, artisans etc. from the North Eastern States for formal empanelment with NEZCC.

The mandate of NEZCC is to preserve, innovate and promote the projections and dissemination of arts of the region and to upgrade and enrich consciousness of the people about their cultural heritage. Special efforts are made to encourage folk and tribal arts and to preserve and strengthen the vanishing art forms

To achieve these objectives, the NEZCC provides opportunities to the Folk and Tribal Cultural Troupes/ Crafts persons, Traditional Chefs (Cuisine Artisans), Mime and Puppetry, Traditional Healing an Medicines Traditional Games to participate in cultural festivals and melas organized in the region and other parts of the country.

Interested Folk and Tribal Cultural Troupes/ Crafts persons may submit their application for empanelment with NEZCC.

The application form for empanelment could be downloaded from Website –
http://www.nezccindia.in (Advertisements link) and from the Art and Culture/Cultural Affairs Directorate of the respective State Governments or collect the form from the NEZCC Office, Dimapur during office hour (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
