IMPHAL, May 9: The Aimol Baptist Association, Manipur Women Department has strongly condemned the Pallel firing on May 5 night in which one person was killed besides injuring four others.
In a statement, the association said the incident was not insisted by any organization or by any community but it was committed by some individuals for their own private matter and asked the culprits to surrender for their sin at the earliest.
The Aimol community has no intention to disturb the Lai Haraoba at Laithokching. The community pray for peaceful co-existence with the Meitei community as before, it said.
