IMPHAL, Jun 12: In pursuance of Government of Manipur, Secretariat: Department of Education (S) Letter issued on June 10, the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) will be conducting a special HSLC examination in the last week of July for those students who were not allowed to appear in the AISSE, 2015 conducted by the CBSE.
A press release issued by BOSEM said the special examination will be conducted under certain terms and conditions.
According to the terms and conditions, the syllabus and question pattern will be that of the Board of Secondary Education Manipur; the candidate should appear in five subjects namely English, Manipuri (MM/Bengali script)/Additional English/Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social Science; each subject will carry 100 mark; the examination will be conducted in Imphal centres only and the said examination will be called Special HSLC Examination, 2015.
The students who are willing to sit for the examination including the 120 students who had earlier submitted their documents to the Fact Finding Committee chaired by the Director of Education (S) should submit necessary documents on or before June 30 to the board for verification, it said.
The documents include name of student, name of parents/guardians, permanent address, institute where admitted to Class X and date of admission (copy of admission receipt to be enclosed), a copy of identity card for Class X issued by the institute and copies of certificate and mark sheet for passing Class VIII and IX.
The date of filing-up of form, time table and centre of the said examination will be announced after verification is over, the release added.
