IMPHAL, June 6: According to a late night report, one of the 16 injured personnel succumbed to injuries at the Leimakhong Military Hospital taking the death toll of army personnel to 18.
Meanwhile, 17 bodies have been deposited at the JNIMS morgue around 9pm.
According to an official of the Army accompanying the bodies to the JNIMS morgue, the injured were all shifted to Leimakhong and Kolkata today.
The JNIMS morgue has only 12 freezers and as such some of the bodies deposited have been kept lying on the ground.
