IMPHAL, June 5: Manipur Governor Dr Syed Ahmad has strongly condemned the attack on Security Forces (SF) on June 4 in which 18 personnel of 6 Dogra Regiment were killed and 15 personnel sustained injuries, calling it the worst attacks on the security forces in more than a decade by UG elements.
The Governor of Manipur on behalf of the people of the State has condemned the dastardly act of the unlawful organisations and also conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the Army men who always work towards bringing peace and normalcy while upholding the dignity of the country.
The Chief Minister has also expressed deep shock and distress over the death of army personnel belonging to 6 Dogra Regiment on June 5`™s attack by militants near Moltuk in Chandel District.
He paid his humble tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families and also wish a speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.
