IMPHAL, June 15: The Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Nihal Chand Meghwal will visit the State on a two day visit starting from June 17 and inspect the ongoing projects undertaken by the ministry, informed a source.
According to the reliable source, soon after his arrival in the State, the MoS will hold talks with the State Rural Development and Panchayati Raj minister Francis Ngajokpa and State officials at the conference hall of the Old Secretariat.
It is also learnt that the Central team will monitor the various projects undertaken under the ministry in the State.
On the second day of his visit, the MoS and his team will conduct field inspection of the ongoing construction of SPRC/DPRC/SIRD building at Porompat Imphal East District.
Later the team will visit at Top Dusara GP- Imphal East District, Phayeng GP best Panchayat Awardee in Imphal West district and Toubul GP which bagged the best Panchayat Awardee in Bishnupur District, according to the sources.
The Minister of State will leave Imphal for Delhi on the afternoon of June 18, 2015.
