Kohima, Jun 29: Poumai Public Union Kohima (PPUK) appealed both Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) and Mao council (MC) to settle the matter in an amicable way in the spirit of brotherhood and in Christian approach. The union stated that since time immemorial Naga society has unique way of solving any dispute or problem amicably and the union encourages such wisdom.
The union further appealed both the parties to restrain from any form of violence while the various organizations are striving hard to settle the issue with great concern. In the press release issued by PPUK general secretary P.H. Shesou and PPUK press secretary Ng. Solomon Sha, expressing its concern over the present situation and being the Tenyimi family, the union urged the apex body `Tenyimi People`™s Organization` (TPO) to intervene and settle the matter amicably at the earliest with the best wisdom from above.
