IMPHAL, July 2: The All Club Organisations Association and Meira Paibi Lup (ACOAM-Lup) celebrated its 15th foundation day under the motto `Dignified Integrity` at the Manipur Press Club here today.
Speaking at the function United Committee, Manipur president, Elangbam Johnson said leaders who have the ability to communicate an organisation`™s passion, purpose and meaning to others will help establish the inspirational culture of the organisation.
Moreover, a leader should have certain qualities like sacrifice, commitment and inspiring people to reach greater heights of performance and success he added.
He further asserted that `To save our future we need a leader who can transform the followers into leaders of themselves.`™
Mapi Council president N Bimol stated that people of the State should stand together as one to save its integrity.
During his speech he also appealed to the State government to take serious note of the issue regarding Dzuko valley which has been going on for 30 years.
Giving the presidential speech at the function Kshetrimayum Somorendra, president, ACOAM-Lup Kangleipak stated that the main objective of the organisation is to bring unity irrespective of ethnicity, community, religion caste or class and create a common platform for all.
Somorendro also appealed to all the civil organisations to work together as one and fight against the increase in crime against women in the State.
