IMPHAL, July 11: The BJP Mahila Morcha has demanded the Congress government to resign on moral ground for creating the present turmoil in the State, said a press release of the BJP Manipur Mahila Morcha.
It said that the Congress government is responsible for the present situation.
Ibobi government have no value for the students who are the pillar of the future in a democracy, it said.
It continued that the government has always stood against public interest if the government had passed a law as demanded by the people, Sapam RObinhood would have been still living.
The BJP demands resignation of the government on moral grounds, it said further demanding for the government to bring an amicable solution to the present turmoil.
It also said that the Mahila Morcha had visited the deceased`™s family and further expressed solidarity to the family.
Meanwhile, ex-MLA of Thangmeiband, Kh Joykishan also hold the Congress government for the present turmoil in the State and the death of Robinhood.
He was speaking to media persons after extending financial support to a police officer L Premchand who was allegedly attacked by a drug smuggler at Nambol while he was the Nambol Police OC. The police officer is presently getting treatment at the Shija Hospital.
In a dictatorial fashion, the Chief Minister forcibly passed the Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants and Migrant Worker (MRVT&MW) Bill 2015, which is totally different from the recommended bill of the legal experts, academicians and the All Manipur political parties committee and JCILPS, he said.
So COngress should be responsible for the whole issue, he said.
He also said that the injured OC is one of the office who fought to prevent young youth from high toxic drug abuse which our young generation are exploited by smuggle of abuse drugs.
