IMPHAL, July 10: Is Ibobi afraid to implement or enact the ILPS in Manipur asked Moirangthem Tombi President JD (U) today.
Speaking at a press conference at the office of the JD (U), Tombi said all political parties in the State had decided to have a serious discussion on the ILPS issue which has led to death of a student on July 8, 2015.
He said that a totally new bill of ILP must be introduced and Chief Minister Okram Ibobi must take the responsibility for the death student.
During the last meeting of the smaller committee of ILP Ibobi was not interested, he claimed stating that the Chief Minister introduced a differnt bill from the draft bill of all political party`™s smaller committee recommendation.
Later the House passed the bill forcibly which is against the demand of JCILPS and people, he continued.
And unfortunately MLAs were not thoroughly discussion the bill during that session in the House, he claimed.
The Bill has hurt the sentiment of people for totally diverted the draft recommendation of JCILPS demands with a totally separated bill, said Tombi.
