IMPHAL, Aug 22: Two Assam Rifles personnel were injured in an attack launched by suspected PLA cadres on Friday evening around 4.
The attackers, according to sources, had used IEDs during the attack.
Sources said the attack was launched near Border Pillar no 55 at Molangat along the India-Myanmar border under Molcham Police Station in Chandel district.
The two injured have been identified as Havildar SP Yadav, 48 who received multiple injuries and Rfn GM Singh, 29 who was injured on the forehead.
Sources also informed that the two have been brought to the 183 MH Leimakhong for treatment.
