IMPHAL, August 7: Politburo Standing Committee of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) had an online meeting on the morning of August 7 especially to deliberate on the negative implications of frequent bandhs/ general strikes and the like on the educational environment in Manipur and on the psychology of the students of the state, who represent the future of the society.

A statement of the outfit asserted that though the meeting has not come to any conclusions, the Politburo Standing Committee was unanimous about the urgent need to initiate some measures to protect the academic interests of the students so that their future is not compromised because of frequent bandhs/general strikes in Kangleipak.

The committee will disclose the measures to be taken up in this regard to the general population in general and social organizations in particular as soon as possible.

The Committee also felt that the demand for Inner Line Permit System in Kangleipak is not only legitimate but also an indispensable tool for the survival of the indigenous people of Kangleipak as the majority group in our own land, it said.

But the fact that it is the indigenous people of Kangleipak themselves that is consciously or unconsciously diminishing the illegitimacy of the Indian semi-colonial rule over Kangleipak since 1949 by taking part in the elections held under the Indian system is somewhat disappointing and paradoxical, it pointed out.

The Politburo Standing Committee of the KCP under the leadership of its Chairman, Ibungo Ngangom is of the view that the best way of responding to the evil designs of the Government of India vis-a-vis Kangleipak is by simply boycotting the electoral processes of India.

Though the people can be sure that certain sections of traitors and quislings among the people of Manipur cannot be prevented from taking part in the elections under the Indian system, their percentage cannot be enough to lend legitimacy to future elections in the State under the Indian system.

In other words, if the polling percentage in Kangleipak is reduced below 50%, any electoral process in Kangleipak under the Indian system automatically becomes a mockery in the eyes of the international community. This is how the indigenous people of Kangleipak can thwart the evil policies of the Government of Indian being pursued with the connivance of the elite local political class of Kangleipak, whose only concern is to gain power and make money, it said.

The Politburo Standing Committee invited all concerned to send ideas and suggestion regarding a Medical Sector Regulation Framework that is being drafted by the Party to their email address: ngangomibungo@gmail.com. This regulation framework is scheduled to be introduced before the end of this year. The party also we advised anyone interested to send mails in encrypted form only by using their Public Key, which is available at MIT Public Key Server (https://pgp.mit.edu/) due to protection from any types of cyber attacks, the statement said.

Informing the general public that as in the past, the celebrations of the Indian Independence Day 2015 will also be banned in the state, the statement cautioned that any adult taking part in the celebrations of the Indian Independence Day will be punished in a more-than-serious manner.

For minor individuals, their parents/guardians will be punished instead. In case of schools/colleges/organizations, they will be permanently banned in Manipur if they dare to defy the ban.

Moreover, the outfit has also decided to call every August 15 as “Go-back-India Day”, which is to be observed by imposing a zero-movement rule throughout the State. However, the zero-movement rule will not be applied to emergency health-related services.

The Chairman on behalf of the Politburo Standing Committee of the outfit appealed to the general public not to venture outside on August 15 also in the interest of their own safety and security, it said.
