IMPHAL, Aug 28: The 25-year-old man who was found dead on Tuesday inside an apartment in the 800 block of Lasalle Avenue, Hampton has been identified to be a Manipuri.
The victim has been identified as Shaolin Chandam son of Major Ranjan Chandam and Chandam (o) Suniti of Thangmeiband Meisnam Leikai (DM College Gate).
It is also learnt that Shaolin was a university level Tennis player.
He arrived in the US in 2010 as a student.
He was shot at point blank following an argument by his room-mate, according to family sources.
