IMPHAL, August 13: The JAC formed in connection with the death of Sapam Robinhood alias Thoi has reiterated that since its inception, the JAC had taken two resolutions `“ first was the demand for an ILP bill to be passed in the State Assembly and secondly, the government should punished all police personnel and other concerned officials including the one who gave order for the firing towards the students and Robinhood`™s family should be duly informed of the incident.

The JAC informed in a statement that it has already informed the government that it will not negotiate on any other terms other than the two stated.

It said the JAC is still sticking to the two demands.

Both demands are yet to be met, and as such even after a month, Robinhood`™s lifeless body is lying unclaimed at the mortuary, it said.

Since, the JAC had resolved that no negotiations on Robinhood will be initiated until the ILPS demand is settled, the JAC didn`™t attend the meeting between the JCILPS and the government, it said.

The JAC will negotiate only after the ILPS issue is settled, it said.
