IMPHAL September 18: The All Manipur Working Journalist Union in collaboration with Sky Hospital will be organizing a Free Heart screening camp at Manipur Press Club tomorrow from 9 in the morning till 4 in the afternoon.
This was informed during a press meet held at the same premises today by the AMWJU president Wangkhemcha Shyamjai and his executive colleagues.
The health camp can be availed by all the AMWJU member as well as non-journalist staff of print and electronic firms, he said.
A team of professional led by two doctors will conduct the screening.
Related test like blood sugar, ultra sound, ECG etc will be done free of cost, he said.
It might be mentioned that SKY has offered 20 percent discount to AMWJU members for treatment. Likewise other popular private health institutions also gives special discount to AMWJU members, for instant Mother Care provides 50 percent discount while Raj medi clinic and Babina diagnostics provid 30 percent off.
Others like Subah hospital, Shija hospital and Imphal hospital also waive 20 percent as special discount for AMWJU members.
