IMPHAL, Sept 30: The Threaten Indigenous People`™s Society has condoled the unfortunate demise of district and session judge (retd) C Upendra.
A statement of the society said Chanambam Upendra had always extended support to TIPS since its inception.
The judicial officer was not only hardworking and dutiful officer but had always helped in delivering justice to the downtrodden, it said.
His sudden demise has left a great vacuum which will be very difficult to fill in, TIPS said.
Members of TIPS also observed a one-minute silence in respect to the departed soul, it continued and said TIPS.
