IMPHAL, Oct 4: As part of the Coalition for Indigenes`™ Rights Campaign Manipur`™s month long protest against the Merger Agreement, Sekta Social Sporting Club, Sekta Apunba Meira Paibi Lup and Sekta Village Development Committee jointly organised a discussion on `Pre-Merger Political Status` at the Sekta Community Hall today.
According to a statement of the coalition, similar meetings were also organised at Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Haraopham Keirao organised by the Irilbung Library Union, Keirao Bitra Awang Leikai, Youth Development Centre Club Keirao Bitra Awang Leikai, Litan makha Youth Club Keirao Makha Leikai and Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Development Committee Keirao Khul and at Moirang Kampu Library Club.
It said discussions on the same theme were also conducted at Kiyamgei Community Hall organised by the Kiyamgei Maning Leikai Meira paibis and local club; at Kongpal Netaji Memorial Club organised by the Khurai Kongpal Laishram Leikai, Sajor Leikai, Chingangbam Leikai, Ningthoubung Leikai, at Chingtam Community Hall Takhel organised by the Meira Paibi, at Kongpal Chanam Leikai, Kshetri Leikai, Top Khongnangkhong and Ghari.
