IMPHAL, Nov 3: Kangleipak Communist Party (MC) has warned doctors and officials of RIMS . In a press communiqué by the outfits Publicity secretary Lanchen Meitei, it was stated that there is no proper order in attending to the sick public at the RIMS institute.
The doctors and nurses are not attending to the ailing persons properly at the hospital and this needs to be corrected at the earliest , the diktat if not acknowledged will lead to punitive measures from the outfit, it said. The officials are more concerned with selection of nurses and contract work rather then looking after the ailing persons and improving the infrastructure of the Institute, it said.
The practice of doctors employed at RIMS are mostly being utilized at private clinics , the doctors are also paying more heed to the hefty amounts doled out by the private clinics and thus negating their primary service of attending to the public sector, it said. The outfit has given a week’s time to the RIMS authority to rectify the administration failing which ,measures will be taken up, the release concluded.
