IMPHAL, Nov 15: Two non-local truck drivers were reportedly abducted by armed individuals suspected to be militant on the late last evening along the National Highway 102 Imphal-Dimapur road under Senapati district.
According to reliable sources, the drivers have been identified as one Bishorjit Bora of Assam and Lal Singh of Bihar.
They were reportedly abducted around 6 pm in between Kangpokpi to Daili Village after.
The truck drivers were heading for Dimapur after having unloaded their goods (Bajaja vehicles) in Imphal, when the incident took place.
While the registration number of the vehicles are identified to be NL-01K-7640 (Bishorjit`™s truck) and NL01K-5001 (Lal Singh`™s truck), the driver remained traceless till the filing of this report.
