NEW DELHI, December 7: Delhi Association of Manipur Muslim Students (DAMMS) organised a gathering to mark the remembrance of December 6, Babri Masjid Demolition, and prayed for the peace, unity and development in Manipur and such incident of communalism and intolerance of other religion not be happened in Manipur, said a press release by DAMMS.
It said, DAMMS has appealed the Manipur government to look into the matter which has hurt the religious sentiment like plan for construction of District and Session Court complex, Ukhrul in Masjid area and moreover, throwing of Quran in Sora Masjid by police personnel on Sports University issue.
