BISHNUPUR, December 15: Mission Indradhanush (MI) Phase II round III was launched today for Bishnupur district at the office premises of Bishnupur District Health Society.
Dr H Babychand Devi, Chief Medical Officer Bishnupur and Dr P Shyamkumar District Family Welfare Officer as chief guest and president in the launching function.
Delivering his speech, Dr P Shyamkumar, said that the MI Phase II round II has been completed in Bishnupur district with 90 percent of the programme being completed during the continuation programme. The remaining 10 percent of the programme will be completed MI programme to be executed in the district.
As for the MI Phase III the department is targeting to successfully implement altogether 19 sessions including 4 each in Kumbi bazaar, Moirang and Kwakta, one each in Karang and Thanga, 2 in Ningthoukhong, and 3 in Leimapokpam. To do so, Asha/Anganwadi worker and ANM would be entrusted for the task, said the Doctor.
