NE Chief Ministers Conclave at FLO Interstate Meet

GUWAHATI, December 1: Ficci Ladies Organisation (FLO) is organising the Annual Interstate Meet 2015 at Guwahati on December 4 and December 5, and about 250 entrepreneurs and professionals members from all the 13 Pan-India Chapters, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow-Kanpur, Ludhiana, Mumbai, North East and Pune will be attending the conference, said a press release.

It said, the Interstate Meet is an annual feature and is organized in different Chapters every year, and this year’s Interstate Meet is being hosted by Northeast Chapter, and the president will be Archana Garodia Gupta and will be chaired by Joyshree Das Verma.

The highlight of the meet is the North East Chief Ministers Conclave, which will be held on December 5 at Taj Vivanta, Khanapara, Guwahati, which is aptly themed “Empowering Women in North East”, with special emphasis for Women Entrepreneurs, said the press release.

It said, over the years, the Annual Interstate Meet brings together FLO members from pan-India and provides an excellent opportunity to connect and build bridges for sustainable development by promoting women entrepreneurs and professionals. The meet play an integral role in leveraging the evolving landscape of FLO as an emerging leader for women empowerment initiatives and also lead to an ideal platform for exchange of ideas, sharing best practices establishing strong business networks for members from all over India.

The press release has mentioned about FLO National President Archana Garodia Gupta saying, “It will be a common platform for experience sharing showcasing, mentoring & networking of the dynamic pan-India members. With the programme, we hope to bring together women entrepreneurs and professionals from Delhi and 13 Chapters across India and provide a perfect milieu for exchange of ideas, meeting of the minds and also exploring strategies for economically empowering women in the north east. Our objective is to develop the wisdom to lead; coming together as strong voice for and by women, cultivate our inner strength and creative power, thereby propelling women power.”

The closing ceremony of the meet will be held on December 7 at Kaziranga to make the Pan India delegates experience the amazing World Unesco Heritage site, said the press release.
