IMPHAL, Dec 3: Two boys from the State have been chosen for conferring National Children Bravery Award 2015 given to children between 6-18 years for saving other lives, informed a press release of Manipur State Council for Child Welfare.
The two boys are Master Maorish Yengkhom from Yaiskul Police Lane and Chongtham Kuber Meitei from Tera Loukrakpam Leikai.
The award will be presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of Republic Day celebration in New Delhi. The two kids will also take part in the Republic Day parade where they will be honoured, it said.
Master Maorish Yengkhom and Chongtham Kuber Meitei were amongst the three children nominated by Manipur State Council for Child Welfare for receiving the award.
Notably, National Children Bravery Award had been received 68 times by children from the State, the release conveyed.
