IMPHAL, Jan 15: The 1st Round Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) Programme will be held on January 17 throughout the State during which children between the ages of 0-5 years will be administered one dose of Oral Polio Vaccine, conveyed a press release of Directorate of Family Welfare Services.
As part of polio eradication programme, the department is taking up all the necessary measures by opening 3341 polio booths, it said.
The release said for successful implementation, all the care givers are requested to bring children to the nearest polio booth to administer the one done of polio vaccine on the day.
