IMPHAL, Jan 31: The JAC formed in connection with the BT Road killing of Chungkham Sanjit will convene a meeting on February 2.
This was informed by Sanjit’s mother Ch Taratombi Devi today.
She told IFP that following the recent admission of Manipur Police head constable Thounaojam Herojit Singh, the JAC will be revived.
She said the first meeting of the JAC in recent times was held on January 29 at her residence.
The second was held yesterday late evening at the Netaji Memorial Club in Khurai Kongpal Sajor Leikai, she said.
During the second meeting which continued as late as 10pm yesterday resolved to revive the JAC, she continued.
Taratombi also said that during the February 2 meeting, the JAC will strengthen itself and add more office bearers.
