IMPHAL, Jan 29: The Committee on Human Rights, (COHR) Manipur has extended support to the mass rally ‘Apunba Manipur-Gi Tunglamchatkidamak Miyamgi Khongchat’ to be jointly organised by AMUCO, CCSK and UCM on February 6.
In a press release, general secretary All Manipur Muslim Development Committee and spokesperson of Alhaj Moulana Sheikh Barkatullah Trust (AMSBT), Md Sayeed Ahamad Sheikh appealed to all the Muslims residing in Manipur to participate in the public rally of February 6.
He maintained that welfare and self sustainable can be brought about only when both hills and valley give efforts to bring peace in the State.
Womenfolk of Kangmong Nupi Chaokhat Thouorang Lup (KNCTL) and nine localities of Kangmong also give their assurance to attend the rally, according to secretary KNCTL.
Irabot Foundation Manipur and All Manipur Students Guardians’ Organisation (AMSGO), Manipur have also extended their support to the said rally.
