IMPHAL, December 31: Complaining against the silence of BJP Manipur Pradesh over the burning issue of ‘question leakage’ in the written test for recruitment of staff nurses in Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) by the hospital authority, five candidates who faced the written test submitted a memorandum to national president of BJP Amit Shah.

The memorandum which was submitted to the party national president today through his email said the written test for recruitment of 116 staff nurses for RIMS was held on December 12 last wherein above 5000 candidates took part.

It claimed that news of question leakage in the written test exploded on December 16 while the viva-voice was in progress.

Angry candidates stormed the venue for two days. The viva-voice was concluded on December 18 with the help of heavy security deployment, the memorandum stated.

Alleging that state president of BJP Manipur Pradesh is well known for addressing press conference at the drop of a hat, the disgruntled candidates in the memorandum said his silence this time is defeaning.

Is it because of the fact that RIMS is under BJP government at the centre?, it asked, demanding clarification from the party on the raging issue at the earliest.

The CBI is also directly under the BJP government at the centre. Their inaction till date cannot be understood, the memorandum mentioned.

Questioning the investigation agency whether they are here to investigate corruption cases of Congress party only, the five candidates requested the national president of BJP to affect the CBI to start investigation into the matter diligently.

A copy of the memorandum was submitted to the PS of Union Minister of Home Affairs requesting to start investigation into the matter.

Another copy of the memorandum was also submitted to the PS of Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare requesting to institute an independent inquiry into the matter and conduct a free and fair written test for the recruitment.
