IMPHAL, Jan 15: Teams of Imphal East and Imphal West police commandos have reportedly arrested four underground cadres from two different locations in last two days.
According to a press release of PRO Police Department Manipur, a team of district police commando, Imphal East arrested two cadres of PREPAK from Thambalkhong area on January 13. The arrested persons have been identified as Brahmacharimayum Goro Sharma alias Bobby, 34, son of Late B Singhajit Sharma of Kongpal Khaidem Leikai and Mangdengbam Shamu Singh, 50, son of Late M Kala Singh of Kongpal Kongkham Leikai.
During a search operation conducted by district police commando, Imphal West in and around Maibam Leikai area on January 14, arrested two active members of PLA/RPF identified as Keisham Chandrakumar Singh alias Jila, 58, son of K Ibohanbi Singh of Porompat Thawanthaba Leikai presently residing at Kongba Nongthongbam Leikai and Chungkham Motilal Singh, 50, son of Late Ch Shyam Singh of Nongmei Pung Makhong, the release added.
