JORHAT, January 30 (JNN): A passing out parade for cadet of Sub Inspectors (CSI) AB/UB Manipur Police was held today at the Police Training College, Dergaon, Jorhat Assam.
Pradeep Kumar, IPS Director General Defence and Commandant General Home Guards, Additional charge-Training and Armed Police Assam, received the salute of the parade in today’s event.
A total of 122 CSI (UB) and 54 CSI (AB) successfully completed their one year training. Of the total M Sunzu Luwang of CSI (UB) received the best in Criminology, L Ranee Abraham in Forensic Science (Practical), Philip Shegoulal Kipgen in Law and all round best, K Veikho in Drill, Meghanath Maibam in Musketry, Okram Robikanta in outdoor, Th Jitendro good performance in Parade.
At the same time, CSI (AB) Kanglupta A Rovash received best in Law, W Somen in Drill/Best in outdoor/All round best, L Chingkheinganba in musketry and O Premananda good performance in parade.
Th Jitendro and O Premananda were the parade commander and Platoon commander during the passing out parade held at PTC Stadium.
L Ibotombi Singh MPS, Asst Dy Manipur Police Training College and top officers of the Assam Police and family members of the cadets were also present during the occasion.
