Consumers’ Club Manipur, Sadar Hills unit revive

KANGPOKPI, February 21: The defunct Consumers’ Club Manipur, Sadar Hills unit was revived today at Kangpokpi town.

Consumers’ Club Manipur, Sadar Hills Unit was established on August 21, 1991 with its Head Office at Kangpokpi and turn into a registered body under Regd. No. 6/M/SR of ’92, recognized by Ministry of Civil Suppliers Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Govt. of India.

The club was revived today in a simple meeting held at the Meeting Hall of Elite Hr. Secondary School, Kangpokpi where election to the office of the club was also conducted.

Seikhojam Kipgen, Kamminlen and Lalkholen were elected as President, Vice President and General Secretary respectively in the election while Haolet Khongsai and Thangminlal Neihsel has been elected as Secretary, Information & Publicity and Secretary Finance respectively.

The term of the newly elected office bearers of the club will be 3 years.

Other necessary office bearers and executive members will be inducted as required said the club Secretary, Information & Publicity.
