Gaikhangam slams TR Zeliang

IMPHAL, February 20: The Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, Gaikhangam on Saturday slammed the Nagaland Chief Minister, TR Zeliang for interfering with internal matters of another State. He condemned Zeliang’s statement which was given in the recent Lui-Ngai-Ni festival held at Ukhrul district.

Speaking in the inauguration function of newly constructed community centre at Moidangpok, Imphal West and constructed under the MP local areas development scheme, Gaikhangam said that the Nagaland Chief Minster has to resolve their internal issues instead of interfering other neighboring States issues where ENPO has been demanding for separate state for the last many years in the Nagaland.

The framework agreement signed between NSCN-IM and Govt of India is like a frame without photo as the government did not produce the points mention in the agreement.

Exploring the development projects taken up by the congress led State Government in the last 15 years, the Deputy Chief Minister claimed that most of connectivity systems like road, air and railways are much developing in the State and the government is also trying to improve power and water supplies.

Local MLA Konthoujam Sharat Singh; Zilla Parishad Samon Nabakumar Meetei; ZP Member Ch Bijenti Devi; Pradhan Thokchom Gambhir Meetei and other ward members participated in the function.
