KCP Nongdrenkhongba demands Govt to produce culprit involve in killing its cadre

IMPHAL, February 6: The Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-MC), Nongdrenkhongba faction warned to launched an intense form of agitation if the Government fails to produced the culprits who killed one of its cadre within one week time.

Speaking to media persons during a press meet convened today at the Manipur Press Club, Nongdrenkhongba the C-in-C of the outfit, that the incident was a fall out of the failure of the Government to honour the MoU signed with the outfit on September 9, 2013.

The militant leaders was referring to the death Salam Sanajoaba Meitei, 26, son of S Khamba Meitei, a cadre of the outfit who was found with bullet marks after he was forcibly whisked away by three masked man with guns from his residence in front of family members last night.

He pointed out that as per the terms agreed the Government assured to establish a designated camp within six months from the date of signing the MoU yet the it has not been materialized till date instead the Government has been responding that the camp is under construction despite that fact that two years has been lapsed.

The militant leader further added that the Government not only failed to provide proper security for the surrendered militants but almost failed to materialize terms officially agreed upon.

Nongdrenkongba further asserted that in similar manner, as that of Sanajaoba, another cadre of the outfit, Ningthoujam Amarjit, was shot death at Wangjing four months backs unknown miscreants, he recalled.

Although they petitioned the government to identify the culprits yet there has been no positive result, said Nongdrenkhonba.

Condemning the act of killing Sanajaoba, he urged the Government to produce the culprit within one week or else threatened to launch a public movement.

It further offered revolutionary salute to the departed soul who have sacrificed their lives including Sanajaoba.
