IMPHAL, Feb 18: The Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai (KISG) on Thursday expressed its profound gratitude to the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam and their council of ministers for the decision taken on February 16 to upgrade the Lhungtin SDC Circle, Sadar Hills East to SDO/BDO circle during a cabinet meeting.
The press release of the KISG further stated that it is a matter of pride and great joy for the people of Lhungtin area to achieve the sympathy and considerate decision of the Ibobi led Congress government in opening SDO/BDO office in the remote area of Sadar Hills for the speedy progress and development in all aspects.
The decision of the State cabinet in this regard, manifest itself the commitment of the present government for equal development of hills and valley.
KISG also thanked the local MLA, Lhungtin Sub-Divisional Demand Committee and all concerned who have contributed for the fulfilment of this genuine case.
The KISG further urged the State government to expedite the process for implementation of the cabinet decision in the interest of the general public.
