Imphal, 29-Feb-2016: A report of one “L.Thongkhogin Haokip”, Headmaster of Molnom Village, beaten to death is currently being widely circulated in the social media. It says (Late) L.Thongkhogin Haokip was beaten to death by villagers of Satu. While the exact cause and details are being awaited, suspected NSCN(IM) cadres were said to be involved in the incident. A precious life was cut short due to the incident. Further details report are being awaited.

Another report from DNA seems to suggest that the Header Master was shot dead by suspected NSCN(IM) cadres.

“Suspected terrorists belonging to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland – Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) fraction shot down a teacher at Aimol village in Manipur’s Chandel district on Monday.
According to initial reports, the terrorists resorted to heavy firing post the incident. The situation is said to be tense in the area.”
