IMPHAL, Mar 2: The Manipur Legislative Assembly today passed a total of Rs 19,94,13,05,000 for seven demand following discussion and voting on Demand for grants today.
The seven demands for grant are Transport department amounting to Rs 8,75,46,000, for PWD amounting to Rs 5,49,86,48,000, for Education amounting to Rs 12,95,21,05,000 for Commerce and Industries department amounting to Rs 99,62,20,000 for Sericulture department amounting to Rs 23,04,16,000 for Science and Technology department amounting to Rs 3,95,75,000 and for Economics and Statistics department amounting to Rs 13,67,95,000.
The demands were introduced by the leader of the House Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh who also holds the FInance portfolio.
