IMPHAL, March 2: A huge State force including Thoubal District Police commandos today launched a manhunt of the three cadres of the NSCN (IM) suspected to have assualted assistant teacher Thongkhogin alias Ts Agin Haokip on February 28 leading to the subsequent death of the assistant teacher.
The security team launched the manhunt at places where the three identified as Thangmilal Aimmol, Thangboi Aimol and Ganthang Aimol could be hidden including Aimol Atu Village, Aimol Khunyai and Aimol Chingnunghut.
The team led by Additional SP (Ops) N Madhunimai commenced the manhunt from early morning around 4 and concluded at around 6:30.
However, the three were not found during the operation.
